Training and capacity building
There is an acute shortage of professionally trained manpower with conceptual clarity to train the stakeholders to provide comprehensive services to Women and children in difficult circumstances. Training is required both for NGO and Go staff on working methods, strategies, planning, evaluation and monitoring, fund raising and management etc. Training is the need of the hour on child rights and protection for staff of District child Protection units and existing staff of JJ Homes; training is required for all stakeholders of child right protection both NGOs and Government to enhance their skills, sensitivities, knowledge on child rights and standards of care and protection. Hence the organisations is undertaking training and capacity building in the following area:
- Development of training modules and course curricula on working with women and children
- Conducting training of trainers and follow-up trainings on Child Rights and Protection who will orient Child right stakeholders on protection of child rights
- Support DCPU and NGOs to conduct regular trainings on child rights and child protection
- Conducting Divisional level training
- Linkage and support to universities and educational institutions to initiate courses on Child Rights Protection and women development.
- Conduct planning, monitoring and evaluation trainings
- Take up organisational planning, monitoring and Evaluation
- Conduct Personality development workshops to children above 10 years and below 16 on life skills, Safety, civil responsibility, human rights etc.

- Strengthen Child Right Protection in North Karnataka through training and review.
